Make Taco Tuesday any day when you gift this festive card set!
Who wouldn’t enjoy your handcrafted cards as a gift! This project has a celebratory theme, but there are many small-image stamp sets that will work with this card layout. The possibilities are endless, so stamp your stash! It’s great for beginner stampers and seasoned pros, too. Just color and fussy cut the images with scissors or add extra fun with a stamp and die set and a die-cutting machine.
I used all Stampin’ Up!® supplies to create these fun cards.

Instructions
- 5 Basic White (thick) card bases, 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″.
- Stamped Image layer: (5) 2 1/2″ x 2 1/2″ squares (or scraps to fit your images) of Basic White.
- Top layer (for blending or sponging color): (5) 1 1/2″ x 2 1/2″ Basic White.
- Small Color layers: (5) 2 3/4″ x 2 3/4″ squares, one of each color
- Large color layers: (5) 3/3/4″ x 5″, one of each color
Begin by adhering a large color layer on each white card base with Multi-Purpose Glue or your adhesive of choice; set aside. (Note: if you want to emboss the color layer to add texture, or stamp a larger sentiment at the bottom, do this step before adhering color layer to card base.)
Stamp 5 images in Memento Black ink, one on each 2 1/2″ x 2 1/2″ Basic White layer or Basic White scraps; color with Stampin’ Blends or Stampin’ Write markers. Fussy cut images with scissors or die cut.
Using a light touch, and a Blending Brush or Sponge Dauber, add Daffodil Delight ink or Granny Apple Green ink to the center of each 1 1/2″ x 2 1/2″ white layer (you can always go darker with the blending if you start with a light touch); then adhere one blended layer to each of the small color layers.
Stamp sentiment below the blended area, leaving enough room for cut image above. (If the sentiment is larger, and you didn’t already stamp the sentiment on the large color layer and emboss it, stamp the larger sentiment on the lower section of the card base.)
Adhere a cut image over each blended area layer using Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Adhere each blended layer to a small color square with Multi-Purpose Glue or your adhesive of choice.
Choose a small colored square for a different colored card base. When you are satisfied with the color combinations, adhere small colored square onto card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Don’t forget to include Basic White Medium Envelopes in your gift set, too.
Congratulations, you have created 5 fun cards to use or give away as a gift!
