Stamps: Translucent Florals

Ink: Blackberry Bliss & Night of Navy ink pads

Cardstock: Blackberry Bliss; Night of Navy; Basic White

DSP (Designer Series Paper): Regal Winter (pick sheet to match the cardstock colors

Misc: Translucent Florals dies; textured embossing folder; mini glue dots; adhesive of choice; coordinating ribbon or embellishments

Blackberry Bliss Card Base:

  • 8 1/2″ x 11″ (With the 8 1/2″ side at the top of your cutter, cut piece 5 1/2″ x 11″. Turn with 11″ side to the top and score at 1 1/2″, 3 1/2″, 7 1/2″ and 9 1/2″.
  • Cut remaining card base piece to 3″ x 10 5/8″ (you will have a tiny scrap piece left over); then score at 2 1/8″; 4 1/4″; 6 3/8″ and 8 1/2″.

Night of Navy layers:

  • Cut (5) 1 7/8″ x 2 3/4″ panels; (emboss with a textured embossing folder, if you choose.)

Basic White:

  • Cut (1) 1 3/4″ x 2 5/8″
  • Cut (2) 2″ x 5 1/2″ or pieces large enough for (landscape) sentiment & stamped focal image to be die cut
  • Cut (1) 1 3/4″ x 5 1/4″; score at 2 5/8″ (inside card)

DSP (Regal Winter):

  • Cut 5 1/4″ x 12″ strip; then (be aware of design direction) cut down to
  • (1) 3 3/4″ x 5 1/4″
  • (2) 1 3/4″ x 5 1/4″
  • (2) 1 1/4″ x 5 1/4″
  • (2) 1 1/8″ x 5 1/4″

Assembly Directions

  • Stamp Translucent Florals focal images & sentiments onto the (2) 2″ x 5 1/2″ Basic White cardstock pieces. Die cut focal image. Using a rectangle shaped die, die cut shape around sentiment. Leave enough room to attach focal piece and embellishments to it.

5 1/2″ x 11″ Card Base Piece

  • Burnish score lines on larger Blackberry Bliss card base piece;
  • Adhere larger DSP piece to center of card base. Choose which side of DSP you want to show as the main design;
  • Adhere 1 3/4″ DSP pieces to the panels to the left and right of the center DSP piece, making sure coordinating side of DSP is displayed;
  • Adhere both 1/14″ x 5 1/4″ DSP pieces (main design displayed); to outside panels of larger Card Base.

3″ x 10 5/8″ Card Base Piece

  • Burnish score lines on smaller Blackberry Bliss card base piece;
  • Adhere the 5 Night of Navy layers to each fold of card base that faces up;
  • Adhere the Basic White 1 3/4″ x 2 5/8″ (portrait) sentiment piece to the right Night of Navy layer;
  • Fold & burnish edge of small 1 3/4″ Basic White cardstock as your message layer; adhere to center Night of Navy layer and write message;
  • Set smaller card base inside larger card base; fold up card at score lines for a dry-fit. Adjust so the left side covers the sentiment on the right. Adhere right side of small card base to right floral panel on large card base piece.
  • Fold up card again and dry-fit larger sentiment piece with focal image so there is no overlap past the left edge of the card when folded. Adhere left side ONLY of larger sentiment to left floral panel on large card base piece.
